Amber emanates the connection and warmth of Light.  Its energies are solar and they create a comfortable sense of health and well-being to the bearer.  It is an excellent stone to wear when recovering from an illness or injury as it puts us in touch with our own essential strength and security.  It activates one’s life force and emotional desire for wellness.

Color: Yellowish with dark brown inclusions (rough, not polished).

Amethyst Extremely powerful and protective stone with high spiritual vibrations.  Guards against psychic attack, transmuting the energy into love.  Natural tranquilizer, blocks negative environmental stress, enhances meditation, strong healing and cleansing powers, and enhances spiritual awareness, dreams, and overcomes alcoholism.

Angel Phantom Quartz or Amphibole Quartz   This stone radiates the soft, yet powerful energies of the Angelic realm.  It is also said to help us manifest our higher-selves and act from the heart.  Just as Angel Phantom Quartz can help us be more enlightened, it also influences others who come near it, subtly shifting negative energies into positive vibrations.

Aquamarine Stone of courage and stress-reducer.  It quiets the mind, harmonizes its surroundings and protects against pollutants.  Was carried by sailors as a talisman against drowning.  It promotes tolerance of others and overcomes judgmentalism.  It serves to support those overwhelmed by responsibility while encouraging the acceptance of responsibility for oneself.  It can also break old, self-defeating behaviors.

Aventurine  Excellent stone for use in prosperity work of all kinds.  It has strong connections to the devic world and is useful for home and garden protection from environmental stresses.  Useful in guarding against harmful emanations from cell phones.  Aventurine diffuses negative situations, reinforces leadership qualities, promotes compassion and empathy, and encourages perseverance.

Color: Medium to darker green

Black Tourmaline Protects against electromagnetic rays, psychic attacks, and negative energies.  It grounds energy and increases physical vitality, dissipates tension and stress,clears negative thoughts, and promotes objective, rational thought patterns.  It also encourages positive attitudes and stimulates creativity.

Blue Goldstone Essentially, this stone isn’t a stone at all, but is made of glass.  It is asilica-based glass, however, and contains microscopic copper spheres, thereby allowing it to be used for the conductive energy of the copper.  It looks like a deep-blue night sky, patterned with stars with a deep luster and a silky feel.  Meditate with it for a journey like going into space because the copper bits mimic galaxies and constellations.  Placed over the third eye it enhances inner journeys and brings visions of other worlds.

Chrysocolla Empowerment of female energies for both men and women.  It is a stone of the Goddess,and those who resonate with its energy will feel Her ancient and enduring energies within.  It stimulates the throat chakra for clear communication of one’s inner wisdom, and can aid in learning what that inner wisdom is. It is closely attuned to the Earth’s vibrations.  It harmonizes and balances the heart and throat chakras with the base chakra for great life force and physical vitality.

Color: Bluish-green.

Large Rough Citrine Powerful cleansing and regeneration stone.  Helps with creativity and warms and energizes.  Absorbs, transmutes, grounds, and dissipates negative energy and is useful in protection for the environment.  Citrine energizes every level of life, acting as an early-warning system so that protection can be activated.  Cleanses the chakras, particularly the solar plexus and navel chakras.  Activates crown chakra and opens intuition.

Epidote It brings in more of what one already has, in accordance with one’s highest-good.  It can be used to create abundance and prosperity and to attach new loving relationships, as well as initiating creative processes.  Be mindful of what you desire: If you wish for prosperity, you must act generously; If you want love, you must be loving.

Color: Light to medium green with some milky white inclusions.

Fluorite Highly protective stone, especially on a psychic level.  Helps discriminate from outside influences.  Cleanses and stabilizes the aura.  Effective in defense of electromagnetic waves and is useful in healing by removing negative energies.  Cleanses, purifies, dispels, and reorganizes anything within the body that is not in perfect alignment.

Color: ranges from deep purple to lavender to green to blue.

Hematite Excellent stone for grounding and protecting and harmonizing the mind/body/soul connection.  Strong yang element and balances the meridians, correcting in imbalances.  Dissolves negativity and prevents it from entering the aura.  Beneficial in legal situations, hematite also restores peace and balance to the body.  Useful in boosting self-esteem and enhances willpower and confidence.

Lemon Quartz Eliminates negative thoughts directed toward others and self as well as anxiety and depression.  It helps structure, focus, and amplify thoughts and information. It is also thought to transmit energy and to help balance and strengthen communication and clarity.

Color: Deep yellow.

Lemurian Quartz  Lemurians contain horizontal striations along their sides, usually all the way up to the tip of the stone.  The energy is a tingling warmth when held.  Linked to the lost land of Lemuria, whose people maintained a very close and instinctual relationship with the Earth, these stones awaken the person working with it to a deep consciousness of the planet and its needs.

Color: Quartz with pink inclusions.

Petrified Wood Useful in cleansing of liver and blood and aids in alleviating stiff joints.  Eases stuck emotions around old issues and clears old patterns linked to difficult relationships.  Meditate with it to encourage transformation of patterns that seem ‘set in stone.’
